Fusion BPO is proud to announce that that Fusion BPO Services’ San Salvador center, El Salvador, has successfully achieved Report on Compliance from 3rd party auditor against The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as on 30th April 2020. Being HIPAA compliant, our El Salvador center will be able to provide excellent services to our healthcare clients.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) provides federal protections for personal health information held by covered entities and gives patients an array of rights with respect to that information. The act requires health care providers and organizations as well as their business associates to ensure the security of protected health information (PHI) while handling, transferring, or sharing.  

The HIPAA compliance at our El Salvador center is achieved through rigorous staff training on HIPAA regulations, strengthening our call center privacy policies and security guidelines, and upgrading of technology to ensure improved data encryption and protection of PHI.

With privacy violations and silent background data collection becoming more prevalent, more and more health care organizations are relying on HIPPA compliant call center partner who will handle personal medical information of their members.
