The slump in the US employment graph will hit the telemarketing sector hard. Fusion BPO Services has clients who want to sell their products and services to a predominantly American consumer market. But the lead generation team working for us finds it hard to crack out quality leads because consumers are not willing to buy luxury items anymore. They are always looking for deals and discounts and many of them are not willing to make a purchase at all. The telemarketing services team often reports that consumers are under severe financial duress and cannot afford to buy products offered by the call center agents. We have a project to sell DISH TV connections but we are finding it extremely hard to run things smoothly because of this very reason.

The offshore telemarketing sector is hit hard by the rising unemployment rate, too.
