TCS Finds BPO Promise in Peru
BPO giants Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is ready to put their money on Peru. The call center service provider is confident that Peru will provide them with the same success that they have had in other countries. TCS’s interest in Peru marks a significant point in the way business process outsourcing units are making their way to Latin American countries like Argentina and Brazil, along with some others like Chile and Uruguay.
The aim of these business outsourcing giants is clear. They are actively looking for alternatives to India, China and the Philippines. With the call centers in these countries packed to capacity with projects and revenue, it’s becoming a little expensive for projects to get done, even by the not-so-expensive standards of the BPO services.
The bigger names in the BPO world are confident that they can do the same for countries like Peru, what they did for Philippines. There is a quite confidence in the way the call center service providers are landing on these soils to create a business process outsourcing sector right from scratch. It’s obvious that these companies see a strong potential in these countries to support and sustain a BPO services industry.
Moreover, they are backing their belief with tons of money in investment. The economies of these countries will definitely see a surge of change in the positive direction soon; as will the unemployed find themselves heading back to cubicles again.
