Hispanic Phone Answering Service in Vogue
The Spanish seems to be having a great run! They have made it to the FIFA World Cup final. Now, as a language, they are about to break out into the phone answering service scene. American call centers are throwing their doors open to Spanish answering service agents. Their aim is to tap into the Hispanic market, with its largely untapped powers to purchase.
The US Hispanics make up more than 50 million people in 2010. It happens to be largest ethnic minority in the country. The purchasing power growth of this community has grown to nearly three times of what it was. It’s expected to be worth $1 trillion in 2010. Isn’t that reason enough to include Spanish as a major language on the menu?
The Hispanic call center agents would be useful in connecting with the members of the Spanish and Mexican population that do not speak English. Several BPO units are tying up with outfits that can provide phone answering service in Spanish. The forays into the community will be something of a challenge for the business outsourcing group.
The Hispanic people will be benefited as well. They can finally talk to answering service agents in their native tongue. The business process outsourcing units that are providing the Spanish language as an option has every reason to get the first mover’s advantage. Let’s see if they can monetize that.
