A Seoul based Call Center that primarily functions as a city run telephone center will start offering counseling service to the foreigners in different languages. The counseling services will be carried out in languages like Mongolian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese and English.
Korean Metropolitan government includes 20 Korean and other foreign employees for such telephone service. Now the counseling services will be provided between 9 am to 10 pm daily, throughout the year.
Just by dialing 120 followed by 9, which is set to offer the foreign language service, all foreigners will be able to make or receive their inquiries. This telephone service will be covering a wide assortment of issues that concerns labor disputes, immigration matters, financial transactions, cultural performances, traffic or tourism information, immigration matters and more.
According to the Korean officials, the city of Seoul has finely integrated its telephone services for the convenience of the foreigners-as provided by the Seoul Global Center. In the coming days, the SGC plans to continue offering the counseling services on more and more specialized issues.
